it seems that your servers are having trouble with DNS lookups. when attempting to place calls today from both gtalk and live messanger to sip uri's i am getting back errors that the system 'cannot resolve' on 9 out of 10 calls. if i put in the actual IP address the calls go through everytime; and about 10% of the time the calls go through with the DNS names. the DNS lookups that i was attempting were for pbxes.org and sip.mysipswitch.com.

Yes, there was an issue on the network, some of the root DNS server we are bound to were not accessable. Now, it's all back to normal operation.

I don't know if this is related, but I have trouble resolving https://gtalk2voip.com/ from my browser. I don't know if this is related to my ISP. I am able access the website by directly using the IP address 72.20.97.170.

That's pretty strange. Does "ping gtalk2voip.com" work for you ?
