i was just taking a look at truphone. since i am not currently using a compatible cell phone i have not yet signed up. they do not appear to support SIP; but they do support calls to and from gtalk users. i am really just curious; is it possible for SIP users to call truphone via gtalk2voip? or truphone to call SIP users?

But If The Question is "Is it TruPhone Account can be used with SIP Client (Softphone, IP Phone, Wifi Phone)?", may be you are right ,,
If you already register your GMail/YM!/MSN/ICQ Account to gtalk2voip.com and already add as your buddy contact ..

For your information, Truphone is 100% SIP based so it is possible to call to/from their users directly over SIP. Please read through their forum for more details.
PS: Try to initiate a call to sip:+ where XXXXXXX is a truphone phone number.
